Soft Delete Management & Data Trash Recovery

BusinessPlus uses non-destructive soft deletion to protect your business records. Deleted products, services, and customer profiles can be recovered instantly.

How Soft Deletion Works

When a staff member deletes a product, service, or customer profile, the system sets a `deleted_at` timestamp rather than purging the record from the database. This removes the item from public storefronts while preserving linked past orders.

Navigating the Trash Center

Access soft-deleted items in Dashboard -> Trash (`/dashboard/trash`):

Filter by Item Type: View deleted records segmented by Products, Services, or Customers.
1-Click Restoration: Click "Restore" on any item to return it to active status with its SKU, pricing, images, and category associations intact.
Permanent Purge: Click "Permanently Delete" to irrevocably remove the record from the database once it is no longer needed for historical records.
