Architecture of Data Security in BusinessPlus
BusinessPlus is architected from the database layer up to ensure strict isolation, confidentiality, and high availability for every business organization operating on the platform.
Core Security Pillars
Our security architecture rests on four fundamental pillars:
- 1. Row Level Security (RLS) Isolation: Every database table is protected by PostgreSQL Row Level Security policies. Users can only read or write records belonging to their explicit organization and site IDs.
- 2. Asynchronous Backup Archives: Automated daily snapshots and on-demand JSON/CSV full export jobs allow instant data portability and offline disaster recovery.
- 3. Soft Deletion Protection: Accidental deletions do not immediately purge records. Items are soft-deleted with timestamps and retained in the Trash Center for 1-click restoration.
- 4. Granular RBAC & 2FA: Team permissions are restricted using granular capability matrices, with optional Two-Factor Authentication (2FA/MFA) protecting staff accounts.
